About Us - Weald Wolves Football Club

Weald Junior Football club was established approx 10 years ago as an extension to the Weald Primary school team. Since then the club has grown considerably and has more than 35 members from 5 - 11 years old.

Started around 2001 with a Dad his sons and some of their friends enjoying a kick about on Saturday morning. This grew with around 20 local village boys turning out. The emphasis was to run around, play football and maybe learn a little about the game.

By 2006 with some of the then older children moving on through age we had a younger group. Some parents asked if the football would ever grow as the children wanted to learn the game more and more. In 2007 2 more adults had enlisted to help. At this point the parents again asked for more skill. We then went on to complete FA coaching courses, enlisted more members to create a board and formed Weald Wolves Football Club.
